Blentyn fy ngwae a'm cur,
  O! clyw fy llef,
Agoraf it ar led
  Ddrws y nef.

Gwelais di'n crwydro'n flin
  Mewn anial fan;
Deuthum i'th gyrchu'n ôl,
  Enaid gwan.

Trosot fy Ngwaed a red,
  Anwylaf un;
Wyf yma i'th brynu'n llwyr
  Im fy Hun.

Nac wyla am fy loes,
  Fy mhlentyn cu,
Ond tyred ar fy ôl
  I'r nef fry.

Child of my woe and my pain,
  O hear my cry!
I shall open to thee wide
  The door of heaven.

I saw thee wandering grievously
  In a desert place;
I came to send thee back,
  Weak soul.

For thee my blood doth flow,
  Dearest one;
I am here to redeem the completely
  To my myself.

Do not weep for my anguish,
  My dear child,
But come after me
  To heaven above.

Child of My grief and pain,
  Watched by My love;
I came to call thee to
  Realms above.

I saw thee wandering
  Far off from Me:
In love I seek for thee;
  Do not flee.

For thee My blood I shed,
  For thee alone;
I came to purchase thee,
  For Mine own.

Weep thou not for My grief,
  Child of My love;
Strive to be with Me in
  Heaven above.
